Occupational Therapist


FULL TIME OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST TO START IMMEDIATELY

The school wishes to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and forward-thinking Occupational Therapist to work with children and young people
aged seven to 19. 

Applicants should be highly motivated and passionate about supporting students with sensory, motor and functional difficulties to access education, and to develop their functional skills within the community. 

The successful applicant will work intensively in a very supportive
multi-disciplinary team with a small caseload and opportunities to provide input in the form of individual therapy, group work and integrated classroom working. Being able to build positive relationships with children and all relevant stakeholders is essential, along with having a positive and flexible approach.

Applicants must be registered with HCPC and RCOT and have experience or a genuine interest in working with children and young people who have complex sensory, motor and functional difficulties, speech, language and communication difficulties, and associated learning difficulties.

Salary details: £23,720 starting salary per annum with full school holidays.
