St Catherine’s and Ventnor Rotary Grand Draw 2012
08/05/2012
Holidays, breaks at top hotels and Bestival tickets are just some of the prizes up for grabs in the St Catherine’s and Ventnor Rotary Grand Draw launched by the High Sheriff, NickHayward.
This is the first Grand Draw organised by the groups and they aim to raise £10,000 to be split between St Catherine’s and charities supported by Ventnor Rotary. The organisations’previous fundraising event, the Grand Auction, raised over £40,000 for good causes over four years and it is hoped that the draw will be just as successful.
Brendan Carleton, Principal of St Catherine’s said, “It is great to continue to work with Ventnor Rotary and we are very excited about this new fundraising activity”.
Alan Birt, President of Ventnor Rotary said, “Tickets only cost £1 and we have some fantastic prizes on offer including two week-long stays in France, an overnight stay at Brown’s Hotel in London, a two night break at the Hotel Du Vin, Winchester and two tickets for Bestival 2013. We would like to thank all those that have donated prizes so far. If groups or companies would like to donate further prizes, please contact St Catherine’s”.
Nicky Hayward, High Sheriff said, “I am delighted to support the 2012 Grand Draw for two
such deserving Island charities”.
Tickets for the draw will be on sale until 13th October 2012, when the draw will take place
at Newclose Cricket Club. If you would like further information about the draw, would like
to donate a prize or purchase tickets please contact St Catherine’s on 01983 852722.
