"Our Space" Opening

The new garden area in school named 'Our Space' was officially opened on the 4th November by Mr Shipley with a Halloween inspired evening with carved pumpkins and gingerbread men.
The area now has soft green flooring, a chill out area, a huge sand pit and ball pit and a raised garden for the students to help maintain throughout the year. A table, benches, a bbq and various pieces of outdoor play equipment have also been installed in the area.
The great thing about 'Our space' is that it's an area to be used both throughout the school day by the Occupational Therapy Team and during the evening when the students have some free time with Care Staff.
We would like to thank all the staff and students who helped pull the project together.
Reach high, think BIG, work hard, have fun in....Our Space!!!
