Towrags Support St Catherine's

Following a busy year of fundraising, Towrags Trike and Bike Club presented a cheque for £2,625.76 to speech, language and communications charity, St Catherine’s.
As Graham Howell, Club Chairman explained, “Club members raised money through a variety of activities including our annual rally, exhibiting bikes and trikes at local shows, holding raffles and tombolas”. Graham emphasised it had been a team effort and the Club was delighted to support the excellent work that staff at St Catherine’s do in promoting the personal and educational development of young people with communication disabilities.
Grenville Shipley, Principal at St Catherine’s, added, “We are absolutely delighted to receive such a wonderful donation. The generosity of the Towrags’ members is overwhelming.”
Grenville went on to explain, “St Catherine’s is working hard to raise funds for specialist equipment and to support our vocational training unit, The Worx. The donation from the Towrags will support the purchase of specialist equipment to be used by our young people in both their speech & language and occupational therapy.”
