Duke of Edinburgh Award Success

On 10th November, 6 young people from St Catherine's received their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award at a special ceremony.
In order to achieve the award the students had to complete:
3 months of physical activity;
3 months of a skilled activity;
3 months volunteering;and
a 2 day hike and a 1 night camp.
At least, one of the above activities had to be completed for 6 months.
The young people took part in a range of activities including being a young leader at the local scout troop, volunteering in a charity shop, badminton, bowling and cooking.
Well done to all those that achieved the award and good luck with completing your Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award!
