City to Solent Bike Ride is a hit!

Twenty cyclists took part in the second St Catherine’s City to Solent Bike Ride on Sunday (4th September) to support children and young people with speech, language and communication disabilities.

The challenging 70 mile route from Oxshott to Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth was intensified by heavy downpours of rain and strong winds. Despite the difficult conditions all 20 cyclists completed the ride in under nine hours. 

Susan Graves, Development Officer said “We would like to thank all those who took part and Wightlink and Southern Vectis who both supported the event. Money raised from the event will help us to purchase new specialist equipment and improve our current services”.
