Outreach Work
In addition to our residential centre, St Catherine’s provides outreach services, including:
- The St Catherine’s team runs special needs units within mainstream schools
- We work with other schools and voluntary sector organisations on an outreach basis
- We provide support and advocacy for parents and families
- Our new vocational training project – The Worx – will be expanding to work with other schools and voluntary sector organisations. Moreover it is our intention to share the experiences of The Worx with organisations who are interested in launching a similar project themselves
- We are delighted to share our buildings and facilities with community groups and voluntary sector organisations as appropriate, including accommodation provision during the summer holiday period.
