Curriculum Documents
A key part of the purpose of College is to support and guide students towards accepting responsibility across all aspects of their life and behaviour as independent young adults.
Each student’s programme will include a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum, individually tailored to meet each of their specific needs. This will include a flexible combination of nationally-accredited courses.
We offer students a two-year ‘sixth form’ programme at our College, with the possibility of a third year, allowing students to gain full benefit from the intensive speech and language therapy and occupational therapy offered.
Personal tutors and keyworkers will help them to:
- Follow personal self-care/life skills programmes
- Review their educational progress and set goals for self-improvement
- Develop an awareness of the world of work
- Contribute to structured discussions on moral, national and international issues
Please see below an overview of our curriculum for college, along with our long-term curriculum overview documents. If you would like further information, please contact the school directly.
“Staff at the school are ambitious for each pupil, refusing to place barriers on what they can achieve. The school’s curriculum progresses coherently as pupils move from the school’s primary phase, right through to the sixth form. This progression is adapted so that it takes place at the right pace for each pupil. From typically low starting points, pupils go on to achieve an impressive range of academic qualifications.”
