Travel is such an important life skill and travelling to and from St Catherine’s is a perfect opportunity to develop these. 

Escorted travel arrangements for Residential Students

• Friday travel to Portsmouth car/passenger ferry from Fishbourne, or from Yarmouth to Lymington via car ferry
• Return escorts are provided on Sundays

Travel arrangements for day students

• For Isle of Wight students, your local authority can organise a taxi service daily

School holiday travel arrangements

• The Ryde and Yarmouth routes are also used to escort students at the beginning and end of each school holiday (e.g. half-term)

Special travel arrangements

• The Isle of Wight does have a number of other routes to the mainland, and we are happy to help parents with these if needed.
