Residential Support Worker Vacancy
We are seeking an energetic, supportive and inspiring individual to join our friendly and compassionate team to work with young people with complex needs in their residential house and in the community. We have three learning homes where young adults learn life skills, such as housekeeping, budgeting and cooking.
This role will work within Post 19 but could be required to work within our school provision if necessary.
The successful applicant will have a flexible, enthusiastic approach and experience of working with young adults and as part of a team. Patient, motivated and with a good sense of humour, candidates should be caring, able to make decisions and to support the development of young adults’ life skills. If you hold an NVQ level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification/experience for this role or would be willing to work towards these qualifications, we would be interested to hear from you. Full training will be given for your role.
This is a Term Time position, 30 hours per week term time only and includes some weekends. This is a fixed-term contract until 25th July 2025 in the first instance.
Salary details: £15,805.44 per annum (pro rata to the 25th July).
