There was jewellery making, armour and weapons, animal hides and a homestead cooking set-up on display. The students were able to ask many questions about Viking life and were given demonstrations, as well as having the opportunity to hold and try out the various weapons. The Vikings then held a battle in the playground showing the different ways they attacked and protected themselves.
