We have had the opportunity to take students to a range of work placements where students have been able to develop their skills and confidence. Since September, our students have had placements in St Catherine’s Charity Shop, The Limes Residential Home – laundry room, Nettlecombe Farm, Knight Tree Care, Carisbrooke Priory – Tea Room, St Catherine’s Maintenance Team, St Catherine’s PE Department and St Catherine’s Gym. After half term, we will be starting a new childcare placement as well.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Island Roads Foundation for donating a significant amount of money, as a grant, which has enabled us to hire a Job Coach in April 2025 to support our students in their placements. We are also very grateful to the employers in the community for providing invaluable placements for our students. Our range of employers includes:
